Rockstar didn’t specifically address the realistic sex scenes on Tuesday, but bragged that players can “experience the world of Los Santos and Blaine County in an entirely new way.” It’s hard to explain, but there are videos on YouTube and elsewhere that show how sex is simulated in the game. GTA 5 for the next-generation PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, however, offers a new first-person view mode that leaves little to the imagination. While past iterations of GTA allowed gamers to get up close and personal with a woman, the action was obscured, typically by a car door or some other means. The newest edition of the controversial guns-and-gangsters game, released Tuesday, allows users to experience graphic sex with a prostitute. Grand Theft Auto 5 is giving new meaning to the term first-person shooter game.
